CCPA is a local chapter of the National Medical Association (NMA) and serves the greater Chicagoland area. The mission of the NMA is to advance the art and science of medicine for people of African descent through education, advocacy, and health policy. One of the ways we do this is to advocate for the increase in Black doctors in the workforce. We provide mentorship and scholarship to provide support to these students in training.

Cook County Physicians Association is a 501c3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

About the association

CCPA is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of minority communities.

Our members provide medical care throughout Cook County and serve many minority populations. We have also partnered with organizations to provide medical professionals for mentorship and volunteer events such as health fairs, voter registration drives and career days. Our members provide expert knowledge by speaking on health-related panels hosted by various groups such as legislature, faith- based and community organizations. CCPA wants to be more present in our communities. Let’s partner to make this organization the best that it can be.
